Material

MATERIAL IS MORE THAN THE SUM OF ITS THREADS

It takes three steps to turn cotton into high-quality material. Upholding strict quality guidelines at every stage in the process is essential. Sticking to the strict criteria of GOOD SHIRT is just as important. Each step is constantly monitored by independent institutions and the upholding of standards is proven by the transparent OEKO-TEX seal of approval.

1
Spinning

Cotton becomes thread. The optimal smoothness, stability and resistance to tearing of the textile is significantly influenced as early as the spinning stage.

2
Weaving

The material is created. Modern looms produce around six metres of high-quality material an hour.

3
Finishing

Top performance thanks to the finish.  Only non-toxic chemicals are used in the finishing process for a high-quality product, which makes it more time- and cost-intensive.
